Stunning sea view apartment with everything you need

From the moment we booked, David could not do more for us. The booking process was extremely straight forward and we were able to arrange transfers and a welcome pack as we were arriving late in the evening. We were provided with lots of information about places to visit and lots to do.

The apartment was amazing with all mod cons - extremely clean and the patio was swept daily. Lovely sunbeds on the patio as well as by the pool. Very easy to walk to the nearest beach club - beware of the steps but definitely worth it. The apartment is within walking distance of the old town and it is a beautiful walk as the sun sets. So many restaurants to chose from but two that stood out for us were the 'Doy Doy & Kosk" both have wonderful food and was presented so beautifully.

We did a boat trip on the Falcon boat and that was lovely - the boat is a new modern boat but there was only 20 of us so we had loads of room and the trip included a wonderful barbecue lunch. We also did a canoe trip which was amazing value for money the day started at 09.30 and we returned back at 5.00 - we were taken by car about 20 mins inland and then canoed for about 15kms to Patara Beach . it was a wonderful day as there were times where you floated along with the flow of the river and then the next having to master a few rapids. it was an extremely safe trip and again good value for money which once again included lunch.

There was lots of information in the apartment of places to go and how to get to places and Yusuf was on hand to help with any queries and nothing was too much trouble and he was more than happy to help book things if you need to. We have totally fallen in love with Kalkan and would definitely recommend this apartment - it is a beautiful apartment and we can not wait to return on another holiday

Simply stunning....Everything you could wish for!

From the moment we booked this beautiful apartment with David and Gill (after searching for weeks online for the perfect place to stay in Kalkan) we felt we were in safe hands, keeping us informed and updated every step of the way in such a personal and friendly manner.....Nothing was too much trouble!

We chose this apartment from the photo's and reviews on the Owners Direct site but nothing can prepare you for the jaw dropping amazing views overlooking the beautiful bay of Kalkan when you arrive and step outside onto the huge terrace for the first time.....Simply stunning!!! The apartment was beautifully furnished throughout with lots of extra little touches to really make it feel like home from home. The location was absolutely perfect, in a quiet area just a 10 minute stroll into town along a quiet road looking down over the beautiful bay!

If you are looking to book somewhere to stay in beautiful Kalkan than do not hesitate in booking this accommodation, trust me, you won't find anywhere better for quality, price and location.....We'll definately be back!!! Thank you David and Gill for helping us to create so many special memories.....Can't wait to return to create some more!

Fantastic Apartment, Stunning View, Great Holiday

We had a fantastic two weeks in this lovely apartment on what was our second visit to Kalkan. The apartment is very well appointed with a stunning view, was very clean, well equipped and well managed. It was nice to have the large outside terrace area to relax and dine on and the shared pool was rarely busy but with plenty of sun loungers.

From our first point of contact, David and Gill were very reassuring, extremely helpful and offered great tips and advice. We chose to hire a car for our two weeks (using David's recommended car hire firm who were also excellent) so that we could get to the supermarket and town/restaurants easier. A car is not essential as it's just a 10-15min walk from the apartment into town but we enjoyed the extra freedom. There are many tours and day trips available that are reasonably priced and the variety of beach clubs are great. The boat trips from the harbour are a must and we have enjoyed great trips, good company and lovely food on both Eylul and Green & Blue. Saklikent Gorge and the river tubing is also a great day out. Thank you for kindly letting us stay on in the apartment on our last day, this allowed us to make the most of the day and was a great help before we headed back to Dalaman.

Our holiday was enjoyable and relaxing from the moment that we arrived and we look forward to the opportunity of returning to Kalkan and staying in this lovely apartment again. We would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Location, location, location!

This is a lovely apartment with tasteful furnishings and a brand new bathroom complete with wet room. The views from the balcony are stunning and in April was bathed in sunshine from 10.00 until sunset. Situated in Kormuluk it is comfortable 15 min stroll into the heart of the old town/harbour. A taxi will cost approx TL10 each way.

Kalkan apartment

Thank you so much David & Gill for 2 weeks in your lovely apartment. This was our 3rd trip to Kalkan & certainly not our last. The apartment has everything you need & is very comfortable. The balcony is lovely, having gorgeous views of the bay. The pool area is fine & also overlooks the bay.Yusuf & Mohammed are really friendly & helpful. They are around in the mornings for any queries & useful tips.

The apartment is 5 minutes from Palm Beach Club & about a 15 minute walk into town. A taxi take a few minutes for about £3.00. We would recommend this apartment & wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It is definitely perfect for 2/3 people. It does cater for more but the twin room is tiny & there is only one bathroom. However, you will want to spend most of your time on the balcony, watching the boats & the glorious sunsets.

Such a relaxing holiday!

We're just back from just over a week in this apartment in Kalkan and we absolutely loved it. The apartment was really well equipped, lots of lovely air conditioning, anti-mossie screens, a massive bottle of water (much appreciated) and everything you could need in the kitchen. Our favourite place was the terrace - breakfast there every morning watching the boats leave the harbour - and then wine and beer every evening watching them come back in again!

Lots to see and do in Kalkan if you want lots to see and do - we went on a couple of lovely boat trips (really good value) and got the local bus up to Patara Beach, famous for turtles. The town beach which was about a 10 minute walk from the apartment was absolutely fine although you do need what we call 'swimmy choos' because of the pebbles. For a bit more luxury, the Mahal Beach Club was bliss - sun loungers on the rocks and a very classy place for lunch with free boat transfers from Kalkan harbour. The apartment is a good 10 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants in the town but there's a good road and it was actually quite refreshing once you'd climbed up to the road from the harbour to walk back at night with the lights of the harbour below.

David and Gill couldn't have done more in terms of arranging transfers, advising re. visas (which incidentally no one asked to see!) and providing loads of information pre- and on arrival. We'll definitely go back to Kalkan in the future - thanks David and Gill for a lovely holiday!

Beautiful!

From my very first enquiry to our return transfer to the airport every aspect of my booking was dealt with extremely professionally. This is a beautiful apartment with stunning views from the very spacious terrace which enjoyed sunshine from mid morning till sunset. The apartment is decorated to the highest standard, very comfortable with lovely furniture inside and out, well equipped with everything you need and in a good location just a short stroll into town. The shared swimming pool was a great place to cool off and was kept spotless. Kalkan itself is a fantastic place for a holiday with great boat trips, wonderful restaurants and bars stunning scenery and plenty of sunshine.

Relax in the sun!

After arriving in the airport late in the evening, what you need is to arrive at your apartment simply and stress free. The directions were spot on, measuring the journey milestones for you, and we were met, as promised, by a man on a scooter who led us to the apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the welcome pack of food was perfect (some local bread, jam, water, beer and wine. The property had everything you could possibly need, with the highlight being the large terrace area overlooking the pool and the Kalkan harbour. There was nothing better than sitting on the balcony, with the evening sun bearing down on you, a glass of wine in your hand watching the local boats come and go.

The local town of Kalkan was better than described, with it's cobbled streets climbing up the hill from the harbour. There was a huge selection of restaurants to choose from, and although the apartment's kitchen was stocked enough with pots and pans to cook a proper meal, the local food on offer in the town was excellent value. We went to a different restaurant each night and really wanted to go back to them all but there just wasn't enough time to do that. There are plenty of trips to do, the beaches at Patara national park, the gorge 40mins away was a visit well worth making and the boat trips out of Kalkan harbour was excellent value at 40lira, including lunch. Taking it all into consideration, a perfect family resort, the apartment in a good location 10 mins walk outside the town with a beautiful view of the harbour and bay, and as there was blue sky from dawn to dusk, there is nothing more you can ask for.

I recently stayed in this apartment for 12 days. I am over 70 years old, and travelled and stayed here on my own. The booking and transfer arrangements were extremely efficient. I ordered a 'welcome pack' for my arrival which ensured I had sufficient supplies of food for my first day. The apartment is really well equipped, with everything you need for your stay. It is in a superb location, with wonderful views over the bay. I used the local taxi for the short ride into the town, where there are many excellent restaurants, all providing wonderful food at very reasonable prices. I can thoroughly recommend having a holiday here - in fact I have already booked to go again next year!
